Most insurance companies will pay for physical, occupational or speech therapy. Some insurance companies have limited coverage or do not cover therapy. It is best to call your insurance company to check your benefits, or the office staff at UPT would be able to assist you.

If the therapy is medically necessary and you have a prescription from your physician, Medicare will most often cover therapy.

Most insurance companies require a physician's referral for therapy, however some insurance companies allow the patient to access therapy directly. Please feel free to call our office if you have any questions.
