Of course we believe our services are second to none. But don't take our word for it, talk to those that matter the most...our clients. Below are a few examples of how we are able to help people like you every day.

Lymphedema treatments
Though some time has passed since you treated me for my lymphedema, I want to thank you for your wonderful care. You are truly professional in your work. I'm getting along well with my sleeve. I will be ready to recommend you to others.

Back problems cured
Recently I suffered severe lower back pain. After several days of no relief, I began treatments at the University Physical Therapy in Mitchell, South Dakota. After eleven treatments over a period of four weeks, I am without any back problem and suffering no pain. I never had to wait for the treatments to begin, they were always on time and the people were always very pleasant.

Accident rehabilitation and more...
Choosing a therapy clinic isn't something you give much thought to until the need arises. I found myself in just such a situation after an automobile accident. I considered going out of town to a rehabilitation center; then I realized we have just such a center right here in Mitchell-University Physical Therapy. The care I have received at UPT has been exceptional! The entire staff is knowledgeable and consult with each other when a question arises. Programs are tailored to each client's individual needs. The therapists and therapist's assistants push you to accomplish the most within the limitations of your injury. The pool is a definite asset to UPT; it is the only therapy pool in the region. Much can be accomplished in the water that is not possible on land.
Besides therapy services, UPT also offers training programs and they can build a fitness program to meet your needs. They have state of the art fitness machines and a personal trainer to assist you in your regimen. They also offer former clients the opportunity to use their facility after the completion of their therapy.
The staff of UPT is like a family and the clients are made to feel like a part of that family. Everyone is always upbeat, encouraging, and genuinely concerned about how you feel and your progress toward recovery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend UPT to anyone in need of therapy. So if you ever find yourself in need of a therapy clinic please consider UPT, they have been instrumental in my recovery. Many thanks to everyone at UPT, I couldn't have done it without your help!!

Getting my life back
To the helpful staff at University Physical Therapy:
Hey everyone, I thought I could write a short letter to express my appreciation of how helpful Lisa and the rest of the staff at UPT were the few months I was there. I just want to say those few months could have felt like an eternity if it wasn't for everyone working hard. Believe me, I'm going to be truthful. I was skeptical the first couple of weeks, thinking to myself, "how is exercise and pushing your body to the limit going to heal, or make your body feel better?" But was I ever wrong. Perhaps some of the staff sensed my weakness of being skeptical, but they did everything and then more to make me feel better. Was it the four months of pain I was living with before, or perhaps trying to tell myself I was going to have to live with it for the rest of my life? I'm not sure what it was, but if it wouldn't have been for the helping hands of everybody at UPT I probably would have had to live with the pain for the rest of my life.
Even though I'm still healing, I know I wouldn't have half the life I do now if I hadn't gone to therapy. I'm not sure why it took me so long to write, perhaps because I couldn't put my thoughts and appreciation for all your hard work into words. So before this turns into a long letter, I just want to say I had fun and you taught me a lot about myself. Again, I greatly appreciate the time and the hard work all of you put into trying to help me and make me feel better.
With respect and appreciation,
--James M. Hofer
